Introduction

Hello!

My name is Gabe Murillo and I will be running the Kritik Lab at the Mean Green Workshop. I am the Head Coach & Director of Recruiting for the Shannon Self Debate Program at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma is at the forefront of kritikal debate on the college circuit. We've won the Cross Examination Debate Association National Championship in 2007, 2009, 2010 & 2012, in 2013 we had 2 first round at-large bids to the National Debate Tournament (given to the top 16 teams in the nation) and had a team in the quarterfinals and a team in the semifinals of both CEDA Nationals and the NDT. Ages ago I debated for Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where I reached the semifinals of the National Debate Tournament in 2006 and 2007. In 2007 I was also awarded the Top Speaker award at the National Debate Tournament and a top 5 first round bid. I will be using this blog to post relevant updates on the lab including but not limited to explanations of methodology, previews of lectures, activities and relevant topic thoughts.
